About Blob Fitness
My name is Bashir Murtaza. I've been working out from the age of 16 years old and since then it's become a passion of mine. With fitness I've learned countless amounts of lessons. Whether it be typical things on form and how the body works to life lessons and the boundaries I set for myself.
WHY BLOB FITNESS
I've started Blob Fitness as a way to help you with your fitness journey and teach you as much as possible about fitness and some life lessons along the way. In the fitness industry now, you have alls these online "coaches" who charge obscure amounts of money just to help people in shape. This leads plenty of people to be discouraged and sometimes give up before they even start, which I don't believe is right. For you to further in your fitness journey you shouldn't have to shell out a lot of money for it. With Blob Fitness, this website will feature plenty of FREE tools and resources for you to get started or further your advancements in your journey.
WHAT TO EXPECT
As I've stated above, I've learned countless lessons on my fitness journey. It has done more than just get me into shape. I've learned self-discipline and how with discipline you can get anywhere in life. I've learned how to set proper goals that are obtainable which leads to further progress. I've learned how to be patient. I've learned about failure and how failure is can be one of the most rewarding lessons. Most importantly I've learned more about MYSELF.
On Blob Fitness, you can expect plenty of articles and tutorials ranging from in-depth information on the form, to calculate your own macros and diet plan. You'll find other articles that be a bit random, but still relevant to what I believe can help you like Book recommendations/reviews, the music you should try listening to while you're working output, Inspiring/Motivational films or people to look more into, aspects into martial arts and much more.
With Blob Fitness, I want you to gain all of the above lessons I've learned and more!
BUT SERIOUSLY... WHAT'S THE MEANING BEHIND BLOB?
Okay okay... I know Blob isn't a term you expect to be associated with fitness. I get asked plenty of times wondering what it means. Just for context, I'm a Software Engineer/Web Developer. There was one time I was doing some troubleshooting on a website and I came across this error that stated "blobdoesnotexsist". Which I thought was... unique. I looked into it further to find out Blob (in computer terms) stands for Binary Large OBject. This could be things like images and audio. I don't know why but I thought the name for the error was interesting and sounded pretty funny. Moving on, one of the definitions for Blob is - "an object, especially a large one, having no distinct shape or definition." To me, human beings are large objects that don't have a distinct shape or definition. Every human comes in different shapes and sizes that vary. However, blobs are moldable. You can mold a blob into any shape or form you want, just like with fitness. With fitness you can control the way you look and mold yourself into whatever shape or form you wish to be. I want blob fitness to be an extension in your toolset to mold yourself into your ideal form.
THE FUTURE OF BLOB FITNESS
I plan on making continous updates to this website. I plan on adding more calculators and automatically generated meal plans that fit your macros. In the future you'll be able to sign up and have your own profile that will track all of your information, like your weight, body fat, lean body mass, macros, and much more.
